Last weekend I used Redbox for the first time and yesterday I signed up for Netflix (free trial, woo).
I'm clearly behind the times when it comes to my movie-viewing methods, and unfortunately I'm not much better when it comes to what I've seen. Here are a few items from my queue, AKA things I'm ashamed to admit I've never seen:
Harry Potter... all of 'em. I've never read or seen the stories, but the recent hype has me... hyped.
Pretty Little Liars... will I love this as much as I think I will?
Lost... I watched one episode in college, but my viewing pleasure ended there.
The Wire... a little old school, but I hear it's fabulous.
The Big Bang Theory... I fell in love with it last season and I'm dying to see the first few!
And last, but certainly not least, my favorite movie of all time:
I feel pretty strongly that this should be in the Netflix instant queue because hello, Joe Fox and Kathleen Kelly fall in love online, so clearly we should be able to watch it online. More to the point, how do I not own this movie?
What do you recommend I watch ASAP?
I'm not a fanatic, but I do love the HP books and movies. We just saw the last one this week! We love the Big Bang Theory and we did watch LOST. We hated it the entire time but we couldn't stop watching! The newest thing in our queue is Friday Night Lights. We'll be starting that soon!

ReplyDeleteI've never seen or read any of the HP's either, so we can be social misfits together - don't leave me behind! lol, And I think you will love LOST! I got into it one summer and watched like 4 seasons in a row, it was addicting!

Pretty Little Liars - I am ADDICTED to this show. The fashion, the story, the mystery. It's so good.
Lost - Is good. Till the finale. Which made me SO ANGRY.

You've Got Mail - Super cute movie, I adore Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan.
The Wire is the best television series I have EVER SEEN. Make sure you don't give up after the first few episodes because it's a little confusing to catch on to all the characters, but once you do it's amazing!!! Steve and I were absolutely addicted and will probably watch it all over again one day when we have time. The writers also put out a new series called "Treme" that is about New Orleans after the Hurricane. Also good stuff with great music.

I loved the Big Love series on HBO. Project Runway starts next week too!
The only thing I've seen (and also love) on your list is of course is "You've Got Mail". Love love love them together!
ReplyDeleteI will suggest my most recent favorite movie- The Adjustment Bureau. It's a little drama, a little suspense, and totally romantic! How could you go wrong with Matt Damon and Emily Blunt?!?! Also two of my fav's!

You should watch Bones! It's my favorite TV show :).
