Last August Keith left for his third deployment. We planned for an April return, but he's coming home earlier! We are under the 10 day mark, y'all - this is crazy exciting.
I know I've mentioned this before, but when Keith comes back he'll be the bf and the roommate. I have lived on my own for more than five years and I have loved every day of it. I am very confident that I'll love living with Keith, too, but there are some things I need to adjust... I mean, I don't have to, but things will be peachier for both of us if I stop:
- going to the bathroom with the door open
- hogging all the hot water
- sleeping in the middle of the bed
- talking to the kitties like they're human (just kidding, I won't stop)
- hitting the snooze button 348,127 times every morning
- thinking about just what I want for dinner
- DVRing so many girly shows (not! They're vital to my health.)
- stockpiling the fridge with only Diet Coke, eggs and coffee creamer
A lot of you have significant others or spouses... what's your advice for making this next step as awesome as possible? Any tips or secrets you'd like to share, oh wise ones?
Happy weekend!
PS - I will not stop singing in the shower or yelling at The Bachelor. He's just going to have to learn to live with that. :)
